Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu

Day 02 : Fly to PARO on Druk-Air. You will be met at the airport and transfer provide to Thimpu (65 kms./2 hrs MON Approx.) O/nt Hotel.

Day 03 : Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour. TUE AM: Visit Zeleukha Nunnery, National Library and Memorial Chorten of His Majesty Late Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk. PM: Stroll down town to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan.

Day 04 : Thimpu-Paro (65 kms./2 hrs.) WED AM: After breakfast drive leisurely to Paro. PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/ Kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the Majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better known as The Mountain of Goddess (7314 mts.). Also visit the National Meseum located in the Ta Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and Weapons. O/nt. Hotel.

Day 01 : Arrival day, welcome at airport by garland, check into the hotel rest day.

Day 02- 03 : Another brand new day start with special breakfast and leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. Since ancient times the Kathmandu valley has been an intermingling point for travelers and marchents from Tibet to the north and India to the south. This ideal location and highly fertile soils have left Kathmandu valley with a plenitude of both Hindu and Buddhist temples as well as the spectacular medieval cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. We will take tour of the valley to see the key sites such as the classic Newari ( the original inhabitants of the Kathmandu valley ) architecture in the medieval city of Bhaktapur, the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath ( a UNISCO world heritage site) and the biggest Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath and overnight at Nagarkot a beautiful hill station which provides magnificent Mountain panorama, from Everest in the east to Annapurna in the west eight of the world's eight tallest Mountain in a peaceful rural settings , enjoy the breakfast and walk for 3- 4 hours towards Dhulikhel to explore typical Nepalese village people and their daily life style and drive back to Kathmandu late afternoon stay overnight in Kathamandu.

Day 04 : Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park for Jungle safari, overnight at Hotel.

Day 05 : Full day Jungle activities (Elephant back safari, bird watching, canoeing, jungle walk and local people's village visit)

Day 06 : After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu afternoon Free and easy day do packing.

Day 07 : Fly to PARO on Druk-Air Fly into Himalayas. Flight into kingdom is considered as one of the most beautiful mountain flight with scintillating scenery of world's highest peaks as Everest, Kanchendzonga, Makalu, Annapurna etc. and as you reach approach closer to Bhutan, Mt. Chomolhari, and the adjoining peaks can seen too on a clear weather. Reception at the airport by our representative and transfer to the hotel (15 min. drive). There will be some time to stroll around the town. Dinner and briefing of your whole tour in hotel.

Day 08 : Thimpu : The capital of the country lies 60 kms or about two hours drive away from Paro. Sightseeing of Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the Central Government, where both the temporal and spiritual heads of the country preside. The dzong was rebuilt in the 1960s on the ruins of an early structure. Visit the Memorial Chorten, built in the memory of the Late King. Stroll through town. One may be able to catch a game of archery in progress at the Changlimithang compound, below the town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 : Thimpu-Paro (65 kms./2 hrs.) WED AM: After breakfast drive leisurely to Paro. PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/ Kyichu Lhakhang. Day 05 : Paro: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang. SUN/THU AM: After breakfast drive to Sartsham Chorten and then two hours of horse riding uphill will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment a short trek to the view point to witness a fascinating eye level view of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang also known as the tigers nest. PM: After lunch a slow downhill trek to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to hotel. O/n. Hotel.

Day 06 : Drive to airport for your flight or exit by overland. MON/FRI:

Day 04 : Thimpu – Punakha (77kms./3hrs.approx.) WED/SAT: AM : After breakfast drive over the spectacular Dochula pass (3,100mts.) to the warm and fertile valley of Punakha PM: Visit the historic Punakha Dzong, once the seat of the capital of Bhutan. The magnificent Dzong is sprawled between the Phochu and Mochu rivers. O/nt.Hotel.

Day 05 : Phunakha-Bhumanthang (210kms./ 8hrs approx.) THU/SUN: AM: Early morning drive to the valley of Bhumanthang through the Yotola pass (3440mts.). This valley is considered a very sacred place for the Bhumanthang Tourist lodge.

Day 06 : Bhumanthang: Full day sightseing. FRI/MON: AM: Drive to Mebartsho(buming lake). This gorge is the holy site and pilgrimage place where Guru Rimpoche had hidden religious treasures later discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa. Visit the Swiss Farm where you can buy excellent local made cheese. PM: Visit the Jakar Dzong(castle of white bird). Built in 1549 this Dzong houses the administrative center of Bhumanthang. Day 07 : Bhumanthng-Thimpu (267kms./8hrs. approx.) SAT/TUE: AM: Early morning drive to Thimpu via Tongas nd Wangdiphodrang. O/nt. Hotel.

TSECHU FESTIVAL TOUR TO BHUTAN
Festival Tours is an ideal opportunity to witness "Tsechu" or religious festivals, which are held annually at various parts of the kingdom at different times of the year. The most popular festivals are Paro Tsechu (March/April), Thimphu Tsechu (September/October) and the Jambay Lhakhang Drupchen in Bumthang (October/November). The Tsechu festival, which is celebrating at every Dzong. The major events are Mask dance known as Cham which take place for 3-4 days and in honor of Guru Rimpoche. Performed by both monks and laymen, the Bhutanese people would have witnessed 12 episodes by the end of the festival. It is a must for every Bhutanese to see and understand every dance as these gains you merit and brings you luck. It is also a time when people from all over leave all their farm work, dressed in their best attires and jewelry and rejoice together.

BUMTHANG CULTURAL TREK
Trekking in Bhutan is unlike anywhere else in the Himalayas. The walks are long and arduous but crystal air, lonely paths and views that defy description compliment them. The trails lead you through alpine meadows rhododendron forests around the foothills of the snow peaked Himalayas, emerald green valleys and crystal lakes. One also gets the opportunity to see a wide variety of flora and fauna. The treks vary from short 3 day walks over relative low altitudes to 3 week long treks which takes one through some of the highest passes in the kingdom.
